God's place with you in mind
Parents tell us their kids come home different. Church leaders tell us they finally got to lead their people instead of managing the details. For over 75 years, Tel Hai has been the place where that shift happens, where faith deepens, friendships form, and people leave differently than they arrived.
What sets this place apart
Tel Hai provides a quiet, set-apart environment where groups can step away from everyday noise and fully focus on God and each other.
More than just a venue, Tel Hai comes alongside group leaders with a servant-hearted approach, helping ensure retreats run smoothly and leaders feel supported throughout the experience.
Many groups have been coming back for 17–40+ years, demonstrating long-term trust, consistency, and a retreat experience that leaders can rely on year after year.
Each summer, Tel Hai hosts nine weeks of Christ-centered camping programs: One led by our team (Dad & Lad Camp) and eight led by trusted partner ministries who bring their own counselors and programming. Kids unplug, try new things, make friends, and come home different.
Four days for dads and their 8–13-year-old sons. Fishing, archery, the zip line, campfire conversations, and a Pinnacle Moment ceremony on Friday night built to stay with you well after the camp has ended.
Eight weeks of summer camp led by trusted partner ministries. Each is open for registration through the hosting organization, and there are elementary, junior high, and senior high options.
Tel Hai hosts church groups of 15 to 200 year-round. We handle the lodging, meals, and activity logistics so you can focus on leading your people. Whether you’re planning a men’s weekend, a youth retreat, or a full-church getaway, the facilities and the team are ready to help you.

“It was a great time of getting to know one another better, which I trust that God will use to help build the church.”
“One of the teens shared this: I learned this weekend the importance of being honest and kind to people. Be that person that is different. People will notice you when you are living out your life for Christ.”
“Tel Hai Camp and Retreat is the perfect place for our girls’ ministry to get away and make deeper connections. The facilities, recreation options and staff always make our stay comfortable and
enjoyable.”
A place set apart since 1950
Tel Hai means “Hill of Life.” We began in 1950 as a summer outreach to inner-city kids from New York City. A place where they could experience both a real camp and the love of God in nature. Seventy-five years later, we are still doing the same thing, on the same land, with the same mission, just on a larger scale.
Today, Tel Hai operates year-round on 150 acres in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania, partnering with churches, ministries, and families whose values align with ours. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a proud member of the Christian Camp & Conference Association.
