Tel Hai hosts church groups of 15 to 200 year-round, from full-church weekends, ministry team retreats, and leadership gatherings on 150 acres in the Pennsylvania Dutch countryside.
Built for the way churches actually retreat
Your church retreat has a lot riding on it. You came to lead your people, not to manage logistics all weekend. We handle lodging, meals, and activity scheduling. This frees your team to focus entirely on the core purpose of their retreat.
From a 15-person leadership team to a 200-person full-church weekend, our lodging and meeting spaces flex to fit your group without making a small group feel lost or a large group feel crowded.
Our staff comes alongside your retreat coordinator from the first inquiry through the last meal, handling setup, meals, and schedule changes so your leaders are free to lead.
150 acres of woods, fields, and lake, far enough from everyday distractions that your congregation can actually be present with God and each other for an entire weekend.
Cabins, lodges, and private rooms. Accommodates groups of 15–200 guests across log cabins and motel-style rooms.
Indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Four meeting spaces seating 100 to 200 guests.
Home-style meals in the dining hall. Three meals a day with dietary accommodations.
Lake, trails, and facilitated adventures. Swan Lake, challenge course, zip line, and 150 acres of grounds.

Groups share what they experienced here
“It was a great time of getting to know one another better, which I trust that God will use to help build the church.”
“One of the teens shared this: I learned this weekend the importance of being honest and kind to people. Be that person that is different. People will notice you when you are living out your life for Christ.”
“The level of service and kindness from the staff. I loved that my community was able to stay in the same building where the meeting room was located on. Also the peace we felt at the center.”

Yes, we host multiple groups simultaneously when capacity allows. Shared spaces, like the dining hall, are managed so each group has its own designated tables. Also, meeting rooms are reserved per group. Many church groups appreciate the quiet, focused atmosphere that this allows.
